Lizards have diapsid skulls

Teeth:
Lizards have either pleurodont
or acrodont dentition.
In pleurodont dentition the teeth
arise from a one-sided groove.
In acrodont dentition, the teeth are
attached directly to the jaw bone.

Lizards may be oviparous or viviparous
